Pretoria: Qualified Motorcycle Technician – Centurion

Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on motorcycles Conduct full pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) and ensure all units meet safety and performance standards Identify mechanical and electrical faults and perform repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines Complete job cards accurately and maintain a high level of workshop housekeeping Liaise with the Service Advisor and Workshop Foreman regarding job progress and additional repair requirements Ensure all work is completed efficiently and within allocated timeframes Test ride motorcycles (where applicable) to verify repairs and ensure performance standards are met Maintain up-to-date knowledge of motorcycle technology, repair methods, and manufacturer bulletins Adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards in the workplace Attributes / Competencies: Technically minded and passionate about motorcycles Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding abilities Good communication and interpersonal skills Time management and organisational abilities Customer-focused with a positive, proactive attitude Requirements: Qualified Motorcycle Technician (Trade Test Certificate essential) Minimum 3 years experience working on motorcycles in a dealership environment Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills Experience with major motorcycle brands advantageous Valid South African Motorcycle License (Code A) Ability to work independently and as part of a team High level of integrity, reliability, and professionalism Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work Motor Industry experience Essential Please note only candidates with the required experience will be contacted and considered.
