About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced motorcycle technician to join our team in Centurion, Pretoria. As a key member of our workshop, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on motorcycles, while ensuring all units meet safety and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on motorcycles
- Conduct full pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) to ensure all units meet safety and performance standards
- Identify mechanical and electrical faults and perform repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
- Complete job cards accurately and maintain a high level of workshop housekeeping
- Liaise with the Service Advisor and Workshop Foreman regarding job progress and additional repair requirements
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently and within allocated timeframes
- Test ride motorcycles (where applicable) to verify repairs and ensure performance standards are met
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of motorcycle technology, repair methods, and manufacturer bulletins
Requirements
- Qualified Motorcycle Technician (Trade Test Certificate essential)
- Minimum 1-3 years experience working on motorcycles in a dealership environment
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills
- Experience with major motorcycle brands advantageous
- Valid South African Motorcycle License (Code A)
