Introduction An established and reputable national transport company seeks to employ a Qualified Red Seal Diesel Mechanic in our Pretoria branch . The successful candidate should ideally reside in Pretoria East. Responsibilities Responsible for servicing a fleet of trucks and commercial vehicles. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and preventative maintenance inspections. Maintain accurate records of serviced vehicles, repairs performed, and parts used. To assist with other technical/ operational responsibilities at the Pretoria branch. Requirements Red Seal Diesel Mechanic qualification. Matric/ Grade 12 or equivalent. Minimum 3 years practical Diesel Mechanic experience. Good mechanical and technical skills and experience (Hino proficiency highly beneficial). Valid SA Code 10/14 drivers license (or willing to acquire a Code 10/14 license). Own reliable transport. Good verbal and written communication skills in Afrikaans & English. Computer literate. Ability to work well independently. Stable work record with contactable references. Willingness to work shifts and flexible hours, including occasional weekends and public holidays. Must have absolute SOBER HABITS. Ideally reside in Pretoria East, or willing to relocate.
