Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Receiving Administrator to join on of our clients in the vehicle parts industry. The Receiving Administrator will be responsible for managing all incoming shipments, verifying and documenting the contents, and ensuring that all materials are received in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a warehouse or logistics setting, possess strong communication skills, and have the ability to work well under pressure.

Key

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and completeness
  • Verify and document all materials received against purchase orders and packing slips
  • Identify and report any discrepancies or damages to the appropriate department
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming shipments and update inventory systems accordingly
  • Coordinate with vendors and carriers to schedule deliveries and resolve any issues
  • Assist with organizing and storing received materials in designated locations
  • Collaborate with the purchasing department to resolve any discrepancies or delays in shipments

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate`s or Bachelor`s degree preferred
  • Proven experience working in a warehouse, logistics, or receiving role
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus
