About the Role
The Rentals Administrator role is a critical position within our organisation, responsible for ensuring seamless day-to-day operations in our rental yard. As an experienced administrator, you will play a vital part in maintaining accurate records, coordinating logistics, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and follow up on outstanding rental repair jobs to ensure deadlines are met
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems for all rental documentation
- Assist in forecasting rental demand and upcoming repair requirements
- Coordinate with logistics and transport teams to ensure timely deliveries and collections
- Monitor turnaround times for rental repairs and identify delays
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in the yard and workshop
- Conduct final inspections before dispatch to ensure units meet client standards
- Handle and resolve client queries or complaints related to rental units
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimise rental processes
- Assist with training or guidance of junior staff within the rental yard
- Monitor equipment condition trends and report recurring issues
- Liaise with suppliers for parts required in rental repairs
- Prepare weekly or monthly performance reports on rentals and repairs
- Support stock audits and cycle counts when required
Requirements
- Microsoft Literacy
- 3 Years Experience in Rentals Administration
- Degree/Diploma in Business or similar advantageous
- Experience in container industry advantageous
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and communication skills are important
- Drivers license and own transport required (and close to Centurion)
- Reside within 30km of Centurion
