About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team in Pretoria. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with existing and new customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain relationships with existing customers through regular review visits and sales calls.
- Identify and visit new customers to introduce products and gain new customers.
- Gain product knowledge.
- Attend site meetings and product meetings.
- Deliver samples to customers.
- Gather market and customer information and communicate this to management.
- Keep the customer database up to date.
- Advise on forthcoming product developments and discuss special promotions.
- Check the quantity of goods in stock.
- Record orders on order forms and on Sage Evolution.
- Follow up on orders placed.
- Record visits to customers on Sage Evolution.
- Identify market trends and look at how Vanstone can adapt to these.
- Assist with Office Sales enquiries and Tenders.
- Assist with Saturday marketing campaign and/or overtime.
Requirements
- Experience selling Paving bricks, Kerbs and Precast concrete materials.
- Understanding of our products.
- Ability to maintain strong relationships with customers.
