About the Role
Our client in the Arts and Culture sector is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will report to the Chief Financial Officer and play a crucial role in ensuring the organization’s supply chain operations are compliant with regulatory requirements and delivering excellent value for money.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop SCM policy, ensuring compliance with National Treasure Act, PFMA, and other practice notes
- Establish and implement processes and procedures for procuring goods and services, including internal controls and bid committees
- Manage the organisation’s Tendering and RFQ processes to ensure adherence to PFMA and National Treasury Regulations
- Negotiate long-term contracts to secure reliable services at good value
- Provide leadership to the SCM department staff, ensuring proper planning, coordination, and adequate staffing
- Ensure segregation of duties among staff members and provide training to capacitate staff
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Finance, or Public Administration (preferred)
- 8 years’ experience, with at least 3 years in management
- Strong presentation, negotiation, communication, management, interpersonal skills

- Formal education/certification in Supply Chain, Finance, or Public Administration
