About the Role
Are you a seasoned SHEQ professional ready to drive safety, quality, and compliance to the next level? Our client is seeking a dynamic SHEQ Manager to lead and manage all aspects of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality across their operations. With a strong background in occupational health & safety, environmental science, or quality management, you will be responsible for developing and implementing SHEQ policies, systems, and procedures in line with local and international standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of SHEQ policies, systems, and procedures
- Conduct routine safety audits and site inspections to proactively identify risks and ensure corrective actions are taken
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, identifying root causes and driving effective preventative measures
- Deliver safety training and awareness programmes across all levels of the organization
- Monitor SHEQ performance metrics and lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Oversee environmental compliance, including waste management and emissions control
- Ensure ongoing compliance with quality standards through internal audits and process reviews
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and maintain strong industry relationships to stay ahead of compliance changes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Quality Management, or related field
- Recognised certifications in Health & Safety, Environmental, or Quality Management are advantageous
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar SHEQ leadership role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of SHEQ-related legislation and best practices
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in MS Office and relevant SHEQ software tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Quality Management, or related field
