Pretoria: Site Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily site operations to ensure work is executed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and schedules Set out and level works accurately using approved surveying methods and equipment Coordinate subcontractors and trades to maintain efficient site workflow Monitor workmanship and enforce quality control and safety standards Interpret construction drawings and resolve technical queries on site Maintain accurate site records, reports, and progress documentation Assist with short-term planning, resource coordination, and progress tracking Communicate effectively with project teams, consultants, and site stakeholders Identify risks, delays, or issues and escalate appropriately Job Experience & Skills Required: Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on construction projects Strong understanding of construction drawings, site set-out, and tolerances Proficiency with surveying equipment and construction-related software Sound knowledge of quality, safety, and engineering standards Strong organisational, communication, and coordination skills Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site priorities Willingness to travel or work across multiple project sites as required If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
