A branded international retail store has a vacancy for a Store Manager in the Pretoria East Area. The successful Candidate will be responsible for the following duties. Achieve sales targets and store profitability. Oversee the entire running of the Sales and Casual staff and ensure individual targets are met. Daily cash up. Ensure sales and financial figures are reported. Investigate discrepancies. Stock control. Control movement of stock between stores. Investigate stock loss. Ensure security checks are being performed. Maintain Customer relationships. Liaise with the marketing department. Assist with decor and refreshments for promotional events in the store. Visual merchandising. Handle customer queries and complaints. Manage staff and ensure policies and procedures are adhered to. Staff scheduling. Disciplinary procedures. Performance managment. Training. House keeping and maintenance. Matric. Previous experience within a retail managment position. Strong leadership and people managment skills. Computer literate. Knowledge of POS systems. Well organized and methodical. Ability to drive sales and targets. HR and IR knowledge.
