Job Summary
SENIOR AREA MANAGER/QUEENSTOWN – The Senior Area Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of fibre and wireless project health, driving customer satisfaction and retention and collaborating with Networks teams to ensure effective operations within your assigned area. This includes managing customer relationships, project planning and execution, and fostering strong community connections. The role also involves maximizing project take-up and increasing revenue.
Qualifications and Skills
Grade 12 (Matric)
Bachelors Degree or Diploma in the applicable field will be beneficial.
Valid drivers license and travel required
8 years work experience of which at least 4 are in a people management position.
Commercially minded.
Experience in fibre and wireless networks and landowner management will be advantageous.
Proven track record in sales will be beneficial.
Sound operational and time management skills as well as problem-solving abilities.
Able to communicate in English and applicable local languages.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Results orientation and drive.
Analytical thinking and problem solving.
Decision making and sound judgment.
Resilient, adaptable, and self-aware.
Able to transfer knowledge and skills to others.
Leadership and People Management (plan, organise, lead and control).
Key Outputs:
Develop Operational and daily execution plans for your team and ensure that it aligns with the rest of your value chain.
Ensure that all resources needed for your team to operate is available when needed.
Manage, train and coach your teams so they can act effectively.
Accurately prioritise key activities and cancel noise.
Ensure you collect and analyse the correct data to inform decisions.
Lead your MOS collaboration in line with national rhythms.
Ensure the business culture is practiced in your team
Report on individual and team performance, as well as on triggers and how they were addressed
Achieve our Commercial goals for the area in your responsibility
Maintain strong relationships with peers, customers, landowners and community.
Salary market related
