About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Receptionist/Bookkeeper to join our Head Office team in Queenstown. As the first point of contact for visitors, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while also maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and staff members
- Manage reception area, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and processing mail
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Xero (or similar accounting software)
- Perform bookkeeping tasks, including invoicing, reconciliations, and accounts payable
- Provide administrative support to the team as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of Grade 12 (Matric)
- At least 5 years’ proven experience in a receptionist or administration role
- Previous bookkeeping experience will be an advantage
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Professional, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Friendly and approachable with a customer-focused attitude
