About the Role
As a Quality Control / Food Safety Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our international business operations, adhering to international standards such as FSSC22000. You will be responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders, including management, suppliers, and team members, to maintain high-quality products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the maintenance of international business standard & FSSC22000.
- Liaise with management, outside suppliers, & team on all quality/safety related matters.
- Ensure changes to relevant specifications are discussed, approved, understood, & distributed to all parties concerned.
- Provide regular feedback to management on all quality/safety matters.
- Control & monitor testing & maintenance of measuring equipment.
- Record and store documents in a manner that prevents damage or misuse.
- Compile graphical data from records for review meetings.
- Ensure inspection results are obtained and within specification.
- Record accuracy of measuring equipment by ensuring they are in good condition & in a known state of calibration.
- Control fumigation of product, buildings & premises.
- Plan annual personnel training and record on general training control report.
- Administer development of skills & training.
- Ensure revision & issues of relevant documents are well controlled and obsolete records are destroyed/deleted.
- Return unacceptable materials to suppliers as soon as possible.
- Replace materials with acceptable ones as soon as possible.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented measures during follow-up reviews.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in quality control or food safety management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, including suppliers and team members.
- Knowledge of international standards such as FSSC22000.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
Qualifications
- Formal education in a relevant field (e.g., food science, quality control).
- Relevant certifications or training in quality management or food safety.
