Job Description

The Storeroom Manager is responsible for the strict control, organisation, and management of all exhibition and shopfitting stock, materials, tools, and equipment . This role supports seamless project delivery by ensuring all items are accurately tracked, well maintained, and prepared on time for builds, installs, dismantles, and storage. This position requires a highly organised, systems-driven individual with strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Receive, check, and record all exhibition and shopfitting materials Maintain accurate inventory of panels, structures, hardware, lighting, graphics, tools, and consumables Issue and track stock and equipment for builds, installs, and dismantles Ensure all items are returned, checked, and logged after projects Prepare materials and kits in advance according to project requirements Maintain a clean, organised, and safe storeroom/warehouse Control access to stock and enforce store procedures strictly Monitor condition, repairs, and maintenance of equipment and assets Identify shortages, damages, and losses and report immediately Maintain all documentation and update computerised stock systems Support logistics, loading, offloading, packing, and dispatch Work closely with project managers, production, and logistics teams Experience in exhibitions, shopfitting, construction, or related industries Strong organisational and administrative skills Good computer literacy (stock systems, Excel, email) Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Firm, professional, and reliable approach Strong communication and coordination skills Accountability The Store Manager is accountable for stock accuracy, asset control, store condition, loss prevention, and readiness of materials for all projects .
