About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a highly organised and efficient Stores Controller to oversee the day-to-day operations of our company’s inventory and supply chain. The Stores Controller will be responsible for managing stock levels, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring that all materials are stored and handled correctly.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records
- Monitor stock levels and order new supplies as needed
- Ensure that materials are stored and handled in a safe and efficient manner
- Oversee the receipt and distribution of goods
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-time delivery of materials
- Conduct regular inventory audits to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and reduce wastage
- Train and supervise store staff to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Stores Controller or similar role
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of inventory management software
- Familiarity with supply chain management principles
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
