About the Role
Dymaxa Recruitment is seeking a temporary Receptionist to join their dynamic team in Roodepoort for a 3-month period. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support and ensuring a smooth day-to-day operation of the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving of all visitors to the office
- Assisting with visitor and telephonic queries
- Operating the switchboard effectively, taking messages, and following up on calls if necessary
- Screening calls to ensure prompt resolution
- Checking incoming faxes/mail daily and referring them to the correct person
- Checking emails daily and answering external and internal emails
- General office duties: filing, faxing, printing, distribution of mail
- Ensuring that the reception area is clean and tidy always
- Assisting with returns, monthly at billing time
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Reception/Secretarial qualification – advantageous
- Minimum 1-2 Years’ previous Receptionist experience
- Well-groomed and presentable always
- Good command of English
- Excellent administration skills
- Computer Literate
- Proficient in handling office equipment, including complex switchboard with multiple lines, printers, photocopy machines, Finger-Tec machine
