About the Role
Hire Resolve is collaborating with a forward-thinking company in the Renewables sector to find a driven and innovative Business Development Manager. In this role, you will be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities, fostering strong relationships with clients, and driving growth in the renewable energy market. Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the renewable energy sector
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities
- Develop and present persuasive proposals and sales presentations
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet client needs
- Strategically plan and execute plans to achieve business growth targets
Requirements
- Experience of over three years in the commercial and industrial Solar sector
- Experience in the sale of both purchases and Power purchase agreements
- Demonstrable sales record in quantifiable numbers (in the form of Megawatt hours or Rand value)
- Must be presentable, articulate, and analytically capable, with the ability to develop proposals in collaboration with Tsepho and engineers as well as marketing manager
- Must have a reliable form of transport
- Preferably someone who has held a management position and managed a team of sales people, with the capability of setting up a sales team
- Will report directly to the Managing Director and CFO
- Preferably someone who has occupied positions at reputable Solar Companies
