About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in external sales to join our team in Roodepoort. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in driving business growth and developing strong relationships with clients across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the electrical and industrial sectors
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients across mining, rail, power, and manufacturing industries
- Provide technical sales support and electrical engineering solutions to meet client requirements
- Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and tender documentation
- Conduct client visits, site meetings, and technical presentations
- Work closely with internal engineering and technical teams to ensure appropriate product and solution delivery
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies
- Achieve sales targets while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Electrical engineering or application engineering roles
- Technical sales or business development within industrial electrical markets
Qualifications
- BEng / BEngTech / BTech in Electrical Engineering
- National Diploma in Electrical Engineering with strong relevant industry experience
