About the Role
The Talent Room is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team in Rustenburg, North West. As a key contact for mining sector customers, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with a portfolio of customers, ensuring their needs are met through proposed solutions and products. You will also liaise with managers to manage large stock orders and resolve customer issues promptly.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with a portfolio of customers in the mining sector in North West.
- Operate as a main point of contact for all matters specific to these sectors of customers.
- Gain a thorough understanding of customer needs to ensure the development of mining customers within the North West Region.
- Propose solutions and products that address customer needs, ensuring timely implementation or delivery.
- Liaise with relevant managers to manage large stock orders and ensure customer expectations are met.
- Resolve customer problems, issues, or complaints in a timely manner to maintain trust relationships.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with the correct managers.
- Inform the National Business Development Manager of progress on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Requirements
- Matric or equivalent.
- 2 years’ minimum experience in mining sector sales (advantageous).
- Existing contacts within the customers (required).
- Completed Sales or Marketing degree/diploma from an accredited institution (advantageous).
