Job Description
Hire Resolve’s Client is currently looking for an experienced Processing Plant Engineer to join their mining company based in North-West.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimise plant performance to achieve production, recovery, and quality targets
- Lead maintenance and reliability strategies to maximise plant availability and minimise downtime
- Oversee capital projects, plant modifications, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality standards across the processing plant
- Manage engineering budgets, cost control, and contractor performance
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and development of engineering and technical teams
- Investigate plant incidents, failures, and bottlenecks, implementing sustainable corrective actions
- Collaborate with mining, metallurgy, and operations teams to optimise end-to-end value chain performance
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- GCC Mines & Works
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- 5-8 years’ experience in a Processing Plant environment POST GCC.
- Valid Driver’s License
