Hire Resolve is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QA Manager to join our client`s team in Rustenburg. In this key role, you will oversee the quality assurance processes, ensuring that products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing or food production and will be adept at implementing quality management systems.

Key

Responsibilities:

• Establish, document, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Food Safety Management System (FSMS).
• Manage internal defect processes and ensure compliance with all legislative requirements within the plant.
• Support FSSC 22000 certification and maintain relevant process control documents.
• Define the scope of the FSMS, specifying products, product categories, and processes.
• Identify, evaluate, and control expected food safety hazards.
• Facilitate communication throughout the food supply chain regarding safety issues and updates to the FSMS.
• Periodically evaluate and update the FSMS to reflect current activities and food safety hazards.
• Manage control over outsourced processes affecting product conformity.
• Oversee documentation requirements, including document control and record management.

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Food Safety & Quality Manager in an FMCG environment.
• Previous experience in a food production setting.
• Experience in QA systems monitoring and evaluation.
• Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
• Proven track record of overseeing day-to-day compliance and food safety.
• Experience in leading food safety and quality teams and conducting meetings.
• Skills in quality control analysis, internal audits, and SOP documentation.
