Requirements BCom in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent. Accounting qualification or coursework (advantageous but not required). 5 years of relevant experience in bookkeeping or accounting. Knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and reconciliation processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organisational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Key Responsibilities: Maintain day-to-day financial transactions. Record journal entries and ensure the general ledger is up to date. Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Assist with annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting Prepare daily cash flow from bank statement. Assist with VAT submissions and other statutory filings. Prepare reports for management as required. Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
