Sandton: C# Developer – Contract posted by Siri Technologies

This persons responsibilities will cover the full application life cycle and will include evaluating business requirements, system analysis and design, writing of technical specifications, programming, testing (unit and automated), maintenance and technical support.

• Follow the appropriate application life cycle to ensure that delivery to the business is of a high standard including CI\CD
• Ensure that business requirements are transformed into technical requirements and design
• Ensure that development items are delivered within the required timelines using the appropriate technology
• Ensure standards and good coding practices are followed
• Implement a sound testing approach to ensure that business and technical requirements are met
• Ensure that technical knowledge is shared
• Ensure that knowledge of relevant technologies is built and enhanced in order to make informed decisions

Essential:

• Software development related certification or Tertiary degree in the relevant field
• + 4 Years development experience in a cross section of application environments including the following:
• .Net / .Net Core skills
• Angular JS
• SQL
• CI\CD
• DEVOPS
• System analysis and design expertise
• Ability to provide creative and innovative solutions while recognising where we can leverage off existing solutions
• Provide feedback on both business and technical specifications
• Ability to conceptualise the big picture while retaining a high level of attention to detail
• Compile detailed technical specifications
• Provide accurate development estimates
• Program efficiently according to predefined standards
• Conduct thorough systems testing
• Database design and programming skills
• Provide technical support and maintenance
• Create and maintain system documentation
• Ability to work under pressure and manage tasks accordingly
• Good communication skills
• Ability to follow the Agile scrum methodology
