About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist & Accounts Clerk to join our team in Sandton. As a key member of our administration team, you will play a vital role in managing our day-to-day operations and ensuring seamless communication with our medical professionals, suppliers, and referring specialists.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture invoices and process medical aid claims via electronic software
- Prepare quotations and invoices for patients
- Follow up with patients to ensure timely payment
- Process bank payments, recon statements, and credit card payments
- Conduct recon age analysis
- Assist with stock take and balancing
- Answer calls, message taking, general office filing, and administration
- Liaise with medical professionals, medical aids, suppliers, and referring specialists via email and phone
- Prepare orders to go out via courier or for collection
Requirements
- Familiarity with an accounting package
- Strong Excel, Word, and email experience
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Matric as minimum qualification (post-study qualifications beneficial)
