A 5* hotel seeks an experienced Events and Sales Executive, who is skilled at Events and MICE groups, with the following essential working experience as listed below – • Hospitality management diploma completed – 3 year diploma • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a sales role, with minimum 2 years’ experience in 4 or 5* hotel banqueting • Knowledge of Infor/SCS and Dineplan advantageous • Generate maximum revenue potential from Key Accounts, Prospecting Accounts and New Business • Actively source new business opportunities through cold calling, networking and referrals • Collaborate with Marketing Team and attend various trade shows, workshops and presentations, representing hotel • Schedule and conduct sales calls, client meetings, virtual presentations, site inspections and educational visits • Create awareness of the all hotel products by way of virtual presentations to potential clients • Update and manage client profiles on Infor, SCS and Dineplan • Generate and tailor quotations to client requirements and upsell packages to include all aspects of the business (functions, restaurants and spa) • Stable track record ie minimum 16 months at last / current employer • Drivers licence and own transport essential An UPDATED & detailed CV in MS Word format (starting with current position) is required, as well as a Recent head & shoulders photo, taken in the last 6 months.
