About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Fundraising & Partnerships Manager to join our team at Wild Dreams Hospitality in Sandton. As a key member of our fundraising and partnerships team, you will play a crucial role in advancing our conservation and sustainable community development initiatives through strategic partnerships and funding. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and growth of strategic fundraising and partnership initiatives aligned with organisational objectives
- Identify, establish, and nurture high-value private, public, and corporate donor partnerships locally and internationally
- Drive grant prospecting and proposal development, including donor research, copywriting, and proposal refinement
- Work with finance and operations teams to ensure strong budget alignment with proposals, activities, and timelines
- Develop and refine monitoring, evaluation, and learning frameworks, including Theories of Change and logframes
- Strengthen knowledge management by maintaining proposal templates, reporting tools, and partnership documentation
- Maintain and analyse a live donor and partnerships database to inform fundraising strategy and trend analysis
- Ensure full compliance with organisational funding, confidentiality, and data governance policies
- Act as a senior ambassador for the organisation, strengthening credibility, reputation, and long-term impact
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in fundraising, partnerships, grant writing, or resource mobilisation
- Proven track record of securing large-scale funding, with the ability to raise R50 million+ per annum within 3 years
- Strong experience across public, private, corporate, and philanthropic funding streams
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications (Bachelor’s, LLB, Matric, etc.)
