About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Travel Designer to join our team at Craven Cottage CC, where you will be responsible for generating and growing sales by securing, costing, and presenting journeys to sales agents in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and grow sales by securing, costing, and presenting journeys to sales agents in a timely manner.
- Develop detailed understanding of strategic and preferred suppliers, negotiating deals and incorporating benefits into client rates.
- Focus on sales success and booking quality.
- Liaise with Reservations Manager on sales potential and agent relationships.
- Deliver speedy service, efficient communication, and meet tight deadlines.
- Provide continuous communication and excellent service delivery to agents.
Requirements
- Matric certificate with Maths
- Tertiary certificate in Travel & Tourism / Hospitality is advantageous
- Minimum 4-5 years Senior experience with customer relationships
- TourPlan and WETU knowledge, and in-depth knowledge of Southern and East Africa
- Personal or educational travel experience is advantageous
