About the Role
The Recruitment Pig is seeking an experienced Alarm Technician to join their client’s team in Faerie Glen, Pretoria East. As an Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining alarm systems, CCTV cameras, electric fence systems, sensors, and wiring. You will also perform low-voltage wiring, signal checks, and system testing. If you enjoy hands-on work with alarm systems, CCTV, electric fence installations, and low-voltage wiring, this job is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain alarm systems, CCTV cameras, electric fence systems, sensors, and wiring
- Perform low-voltage wiring, signal checks, and system testing
- Do fault-finding and repairs on Paradox, IDS, Ajax, and Olarm systems
- Support clients with system use and basic troubleshooting
- Complete site checks, job cards, and neat technical reporting
Requirements
- Experience as an Alarm Technician / Security Installation Technician
- Strong skills in CCTV, Alarm Systems, Electric Fence, and fault-finding
- Comfortable with low-voltage wiring, sensors, cameras, and signal tracing
- Working knowledge of Paradox, IDS, Ajax, and Olarm systems
- PSIRA Registered
