Roles and Responsibilities
This person’s primary responsibility is the proactive management and maintenance of our office’s IT infrastructure—ensuring that all systems, servers, and hardware remain fully operational at all times.
Rather than just responding to IT issues, this role requires preventative action—regularly monitoring system health, conducting maintenance, and identifying potential failures before they impact operations.
This role is strictly on-site—we need someone who is physically present to handle hands-on IT infrastructure tasks. No remote or phone-based support is primarily involved.
The goal is system stability—this person must minimize downtime, ensure optimal performance of all IT assets, and maintain business continuity in our security monitoring command center.
While we have remote network engineers managing firewalls, switches, and overall network configurations, this System Administrator will primarily focus on managing the IT environment locally—ensuring PCs, workstations, servers, and IT hardware are fully functional at all times.
They will need to perform routine maintenance, software updates, and system optimizations to prevent performance issues and technical failures.
This is not an end-user IT support role—while troubleshooting may be required at times, the main responsibility is to actively manage and maintain IT infrastructure rather than just responding to user requests.
Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills are required to address potential failures before they become major issues.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Someone with a proactive approach to IT management, focusing on preventative maintenance, system optimization, and reliability.
A professional with hands-on IT/system administration experience in an IT-intensive environment.
Strong understanding of Windows operating systems, IT security best practices, and hardware diagnostics.
A self-sufficient, detail-oriented, and problem-solving individual who can work independently while collaborating with our remote IT team as needed.

(Linux operating system experience is not critical for our current needs. The focus is IT system administration and management, and any good IT person would have more than sufficient knowledge about operating systems)
 
This role is to provide 24’h support and maintenance for a Control Room in Rivonia with nontraditional working hours.
