Job Description
Are you an experienced TLB Operator looking for your next opportunity in the construction or property development space? Our client is currently seeking skilled TLB Operators to join their dynamic team in Sandton, JHB. If you have hands-on experience operating Tractor-Loader-Backhoes (TLBs) and a strong safety record, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:

Safely operate the Tractor-Loader-Backhoe (TLB) to perform tasks such as trenching, digging, loading, backfilling, and leveling
-
Conduct pre-start inspections and basic maintenance checks on the TLB to ensure safe operation
-
Report any mechanical faults, defects, or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately
-
Assist with site preparation, excavation, and clearing of construction areas
-
Load and offload materials and assist with general site logistics when required
-
Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site
-
Work closely with the site foreman or supervisor to complete daily tasks as per job specifications
-
Maintain accurate records of hours worked, tasks completed, and machinery issues
-
Ensure cleanliness and proper shutdown of the TLB at the end of each shift
-
Support general construction or infrastructure duties when machine work is not required
Requirements:

Proven experience operating TLB machinery
-
Valid TLB Operator Certificate from an accredited training provider (TETA or CETA accredited)

Valid operator certification/license
-
Familiarity with construction site safety protocols
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
