About the Role
The Construction Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily project tasks, managing vendor and contractor relationships, and ensuring compliance with OHS Act regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of construction principles, practices, and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute daily project-related tasks
- Communicate effectively with the project team and related vendors
- Coordinate artisan planning and work coordination
- Manage and evaluate contractors
- Ensure safe work procedures are followed and statutory compliance is maintained
- Execute daily project-related work
- Monitor project schedules and budgets
- Provide quality control and documentation
- Liaise with operations team leads and area owners
Requirements
- National Diploma in Engineering Studies or related qualification
- Trade-specific Artisan (Red Seal) certification advantageous
- 5-8 years’ experience in a maintenance and project execution role
- 3 years of contractor and construction management experience
- 2 years of change management (MOC) experience
Qualifications
- Completed National Diploma in Engineering Studies or related qualification
