About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented PR Civil Engineer to join our client’s team. In this role, you will provide public relations support and technical expertise within engineering projects while maintaining strong communication with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage public engagement efforts, ensuring transparent communication regarding project status and impacts.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including governmental agencies, community groups, and the public.
- Assist in the preparation of documents and presentations for public meetings and hearings.
- Advise on technical documentation related to civil engineering projects.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
- Support project management in developing strategies for effective public relations and community engagement.
- Monitor and address public feedback and concerns while maintaining positive relationships.
- Collaborate with project teams to align engineering objectives with public relations goals.
- Maintain documentation and records for public engagement activities.
Requirements
- Must be a Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) or Professional Technologist (Pr Tech)
- Must have experience in AutoCAD 3D
- Must be an SA Citizen
- Must be willing to relocate to Secunda (traveling up and down is not an option)
- Minimum 8 years of experience
- Design experience in roads, water, sewer, and stormwater
- Geometric / Pavement Design would be great
- Experience with work on Provincial / National Roads
- EE (Electrical Engineering) would be an advantage but not a requirement
- Experience in the Oil & Gas Industry (Brownfields) will be an advantage
