Job Summary
The positionwill be located on a large residential estate in Somerset West.
Requirements:
Qualification in horticulture, landscaping or similar Minimum 3 years` experience Valid driver`s license Computer literate (MS Office essential) Good work ethic & sober habits Self-motivated & self-disciplined Excellent time management & communication skills The ability to manage, oversee & give feedback on a daily basis Ability to motivate others Ability to work independently as well as in a group A good knowledge of plants, plant care & landscaping Attention to detail & organisational skills Problem-solving skills Landscaping design experience & knowledge of design software advantageousKey duties & responsibilities: Managing the team of 22 employees in three departments of garden maintenance,landscaping & irrigation; lawn-mowing & machine operating and the maintenance of theestate`s pool area.Managing the day-to-day operations of the residential estate.Professional & timely communication with the Garden Division Manager.Providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns with the estate in aprofessional manner.The successful applicant will report to the Garden Division Manager, that will be on sitepart-time to communicate the scope of work, and assist in HR and other senior dutiesAn opportunity exists for the successful applicant to become involved.
