Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support across a commercial and retail property portfolio
  • Manage tenant queries, communication, and general correspondence
  • Assist with lease administration, including lease renewals, amendments, and documentation
  • Capture and maintain accurate data on MDA Property Manager or similar property systems
  • Support tenant billing, recoveries, and credit control processes
  • Prepare and maintain property files, contracts, and compliance documentation
  • Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, inspections, and handovers
  • Liaise with property managers, maintenance teams, and external contractors
  • Assist with monthly reporting, schedules, and administrative tasks
  • Ensure all records and documentation are accurate and up to date

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Relevant qualification in Property Management, Business Administration, or Finance (advantageous)
  • 2–4 years’ experience in property administration or property management support
  • Experience in commercial or retail property environment (preferred)
  • Exposure to MDA Property Manager or similar systems (advantageous)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Ability to multitask and manage deadlines
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Understanding of lease agreements and property processes
