About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Social Media & Administration Assistant to join our team in Somerset West. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for managing our social media presence across multiple platforms, coordinating content, and providing administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and manage social media posts across multiple platforms
- Respond to comments, messages and enquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Assist with content coordination (briefing designers, sourcing images, uploading content)
- Proofread captions and content to ensure correct grammar, spelling and tone
- Conduct basic research for campaigns, trends and competitor activity
- Assist with reports, spreadsheets and general admin tasks
- Help manage calendars, meetings and internal workflows
Requirements
- Strong command of English (written and verbal) with excellent grammar
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable using a PC and common tools (Google Workspace, Excel, etc.)
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive attitude with willingness to learn and take initiative
