AI-Enabled Full Stack Software Developer (Product-Focused) Shape AI-first products from concept to production in a fast-scaling international consultancy Hybrid / Remote (South Africa) | R65,000 R70,000 per month (negotiable) About Our Client Our client is a fast-growing international AI consultancy designing and delivering proprietary AI-first software products and platforms. Focused on real-world use cases and measurable outcomes, they help organisations embed AI into production environments while developing their own scalable software IP. This is a high-trust, collaborative environment suited to professionals who thrive on autonomy, ownership, and delivery excellence. The Role: AI-Enabled Full Stack Software Developer This is a hybrid product/engineering role ideal for a developer with strong product thinking. Youll own the translation of product intent into buildable software, driving delivery across the full stack. From early-stage ideation to production deployment, you’ll be hands-on in coding, technical scoping, and leading structured delivery. It’s an opportunity to influence both what is built and how it is built, with direct impact on product success. Key Responsibilities Bring proven full-stack software development experience in production environments Design, build, and ship software across frontend, backend, APIs, data, and cloud infrastructure Translate product intent into technical specifications, acceptance criteria, and delivery plans Break down ambiguous ideas into actionable development work Collaborate with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to prioritise and sequence work Own delivery standards across development, staging, and production environments Apply AI tools and APIs (e.g., Claude Code or similar) to enhance product functionality and workflows Contribute to architectural decisions and long-term product strategy About You 4 years experience as a full-stack software developer Hands-on experience using AI tools or APIs in products or development workflows Strong product mindset with the ability to think beyond technical tasks Comfortable writing technical specs, user stories, and testable acceptance criteria Able to bring structure to ambiguous ideas and drive delivery Solid knowledge of modern web stacks, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, staging workflows, and production deployment Strong communicator with both technical and non-technical teams Nice to Have Background in product ownership, solution design, or technical product management Experience embedding AI or automation into SaaS platforms Familiarity with ticketing/planning tools (e.g., Zoho) Share Options & Bonus Scheme Eligible after 3 months of continuous employment (subject to scheme rules).
