Assistant Lodge Manager / Duty Manager 5 Star Luxury Safari Lodge Hoedspruit Region Live-in Role (Single accommodation) | Salary: R15,000 R25,000 p/m + benefits Kendrick Recruitment is urgently seeking a capable, hands-on Assistant Lodge Manager / Duty Manager for a luxury safari lodge in the Greater Hoedspruit area. This property offers refined safari experiences and exceptional guest service, requiring a confident and detail-orientated hospitality professional to support day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong lodge or boutique hotel experience, a passion for personalised guest care, and the ability to remain calm under pressure while driving service excellence. Key Responsibilities Assist the Lodge Manager with operational oversight across all departments Act as Duty Manager when required, overseeing guest arrival, service flow, daily activities, and problem resolution Maintain premium lodge presentation standards with attention to detail across rooms and public areas Liaise with housekeeping, maintenance, service staff, and guides to ensure seamless guest experiences Manage guest interactions and requests, ensuring attentive service and proactive feedback handling Support administrative duties including reporting, guest communication, and operational planning Uphold luxury hospitality standards and represent the lodge ethos with warmth and professionalism Requirements Previous lodge management, supervisor, or duty management experience within a 5* game lodge Strong communication, guest-interaction, and organisational skills A hands-on, solutions-driven approach with the ability to multitask and support multiple divisions Calm under pressure, emotionally mature, and professional at all times Valid South African citizenship or right to work in South Africa Ability to live on-site in a single live-in accommodation Package Salary: R15,000 R25,000 per month (based on experience) Live-in single accommodation provided Opportunity to grow within a prestigious luxury lodge environment Immersive bush lifestyle in a premier Greater Kruger tourism region To Apply Please submit your CV, contactable references, and a recent head-and-shoulders photograph ASAP. ?
