About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and polished Assistant Manager for a luxury safari lodge Boutique & Gallery in the Kruger National Park. This is a guest-facing retail role suited to someone with flair, a strong eye for detail, and a passion for high-end products and personalised service.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional guest service through personalised product support, recommendations, and efficient service recovery
- Maintain strong product knowledge and confidently advise guests on luxury items, design pieces, and retail trends
- Support sales growth by meeting targets, identifying opportunities, and actively driving revenue
- Assist with stock control and inventory processes, ensuring seamless guest transactions and accurate handling of products
- Support visual merchandising standards to ensure the boutique is always beautifully styled and aligned to luxury brand presentation
Requirements
- Boutique retail / luxury retail experience essential
- Luxury safari lodge experience highly advantageous
- Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask
- Excellent attention to detail and high service standards
- Confident communicator (written and verbal English), professional and guest-focused
- Strong computer skills and admin confidence (Microsoft Office essential, accounting system exposure advantageous)
