About the Role

Farm Manager SA is seeking an experienced Avocado Farm Manager to oversee the daily operations of our avocado farm in South Africa. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tree crops and excellent knowledge of avocado farming, with a proven track record of success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day farm activities, including crop monitoring and maintenance
  • Ensure efficient use of resources, minimizing waste and maximizing yields
  • Maintain accurate records of production, sales, and finances
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve farm productivity and profitability
  • Supervise a team of farm workers and provide guidance and support as needed

Requirements

  • Agricultural Diploma/Degree
  • At least 3 years’ experience in tree crops
