About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Trails Guide to join our team at Hospitality Placements, based in Mesina. As a key member of our lodge operations, you will be responsible for conducting game drives and guided walks, playing a role in reserve conservation, and assisting with lodge operations when no guests are present.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct game drives and guided walks
- Play a role in reserve conservation
- Assist with lodge operations (e.g., welcoming guests, preparing meals)
- Provide exceptional guest experiences
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Trails Guide in Big5, 4 to 5-Star Game Lodges
- Full FGASA Back-up Trails certification preferred
- Valid First Aid, PDP, and ARH qualifications
- RSA ID (South African ID) essential
- Own vehicle highly beneficial
Qualifications
- Completed Matric or equivalent qualification
- Valid and recognized Trails Guide certification(s)
