Job Description
- Working with CIPC (changing directors and annual returns).
- Submit SARS returns via e-filing/Easyfile: EMP201, EMP501, VAT201.
- Retrieve monthly VAT information from accounting programs and doing VAT reconciliations.
- Submit returns on U-filing.
- Submit returns to Department of Labour/Workman’s Compensation and get letter of good standing from platform.
- Communication and interaction (phone/email) with UIF/Department of Labour.
- Retrieve client information from various platforms monthly.
- Office administration (filing, organising data, updating forms, etc).
- Training will be provided on most of the duties listed above.
Requirements
- Qualification in Accounting (preferred)
- Accounting Articles (preferred)
- Proficiency in Afrikaans
- Accounting experience
- Willingness to learn ‘cloud based’ programs (knowledge of ‘cloud based’ systems will be an advantage)
- Strong administrative skills
- Must be able work with deadlines
- Comfortable with technology and willing to learn/investigate new ways of doing
