Job Description
Logistics Company seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead growth in our transport and logistics business. You’ll identify new business opportunities, build lasting client relationships, and deliver tailored logistics solutions that drive revenue and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Business Developer, you’ll drive new business acquisition by identifying and pursuing clients, crafting strategic plans, and delivering tailored logistics solutions. You’ll build trust-based relationships, ensuring client satisfaction while spotting opportunities to upsell and cross-sell. With a focus on revenue growth, you’ll meet and exceed sales targets, maintain detailed pipeline reports, and present results to leadership. Representing the company at industry events, you’ll stay ahead of market trends, rates, and innovations to keep us competitive.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in business development, marketing, or sales within Transport & Logistics, with a strong understanding of taut liner freight (national and cross-border) and side tipper operations (national mining). Skilled in negotiation, communication, and presentation, with the ability to design and pitch customized logistics solutions that meet client needs.
