About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to support outbound prospecting and pipeline generation for a UK-based consultancy, operating remotely in South Africa. The ideal candidate will utilize their 13 years of experience in BDR, SDR, or sales roles to drive results-driven outreach.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize 13 years of experience in a BDR, SDR, or sales role to drive outbound prospecting.
- Research and identify potential clients aligned to the ideal customer profile.
- Conduct outbound outreach via email, LinkedIn, and cold calling.
- Qualify leads based on fit, budget, and opportunity to ensure high-quality handovers.
- Schedule meetings between qualified prospects and Account Executives while managing calendars.
- Track outreach activity and performance metrics to maintain a consistent flow of leads.
- Brief the sales team with relevant prospect insights ahead of calls.
- Optimize messaging and targeting to improve pipeline generation results.
Requirements
- 13 years experience in a BDR, SDR, or sales role.
- Experience with cold outreach, including email, LinkedIn, and calls.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with no accent.
- Highly organised and target-driven.
- Comfortable working with UK-based teams and clients during UK business hours.
Qualifications
- Proven UK working experience with a solid track record of achievements.
- Experience working with UK or international markets (desirable).
- Exposure to agency, digital, or consulting environments (desirable).
- Construction experience (preferable).
- Familiarity with CRM systems like HubSpot and research tools (desirable).
