About the Role
This role is critical to ensuring the timely sourcing of raw materials and construction retail products while driving cost efficiencies, supplier performance, and inventory optimisation. The successful candidate will bring strong negotiation skills, technical product knowledge, and the ability to align procurement strategies with broader operational and supply chain objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Negotiate prices and terms of supply
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards (9001, 3834, 14001, and 45001)
- Optimize inventory levels and reduce stockouts
- Analyse data to inform procurement decisions
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in procurement and supply chain (retail or manufacturing)
- Strong technical knowledge of raw materials and construction retail products
- Proven sourcing and supplier negotiation experience
- ERP system experience (K8 Kerridge or similar)
- Advanced MS Excel and strong MS Outlook skills

Salary & Benefits
- Competitive salary range: R500,000 – R700,000 per annum, depending on experience
