Employment: Permanent, Full time position
Essential Legal Requirements: Must be a South African born citizen with a Clean Criminal background – checks will be done on shortlisted applicant.
Salary: R7845
Company benefits: Provident fund and December Annual bonus.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00 and Saturdays 08:00 to 13:00.
Job Purpose
The primary purpose of an Automotive Parts Picker and Packer is to ensure the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. This role bridges the gap between warehouse inventory and the end customer, ensuring that the correct vehicle componentsranging from small sensors to heavy engine blocksare identified, quality-checked, and securely packaged for transit.
Key Responsibilities

Order Picking: Locate specific automotive parts within the warehouse and storeroom using bin locations, part numbers, or barcode scanners.

Quality Inspection: Verify that parts are not damaged and match the exact specifications

Secure Packaging: Select appropriate packaging materials to protect fragile components

Inventory Accuracy: Assist in cycle counts and report low stock levels or discrepancies in bin locations to the warehouse manager.

Safety & Maintenance: Operate warehouse equipment (trolleys, pallet jacks, or forklifts) safely and maintain a clean, organized work environment to prevent workplace hazards.
Requirements & Skills

Attention to Detail: Critical for distinguishing between very similar automotive components (e.g., left-hand vs. right-hand side mirrors).

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy automotive parts repeatedly.

Technical Literacy: Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or basic computer skills for scanning and labeling.

Product Knowledge: (Preferred) A basic understanding of vehicle makes and models to better identify parts.
