About the Role

The Hiring House is seeking an experienced Centre Manager to join our team at The Oval Shopping Centre in South Africa. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the centre, managing tenant relationships, and driving business growth through effective marketing and customer relations strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily centre inspections and walkabouts
• Tenant liaison and identification of potential problematic tenants with suggested remedial solutions
• Management of and guidance to all on-site staff
• Maintenance & operations file management (OHS compliance issues, Asset Register, Tenant records, etc.)
• Promotions – income and expense control
• Updated market knowledge as to competitor’s activities in the catchment areas of the centres
• Collection and recording of monthly turnover figures from tenants
• Identification of risks associated with tenant mix of centres

Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric), Relevant Diploma or Degree
• Minimum of 5 to 8 years in a relevant field
• Proven experience in centre management, leasing, marketing, and customer relations
