What Were Looking For Were looking for a passionate and experienced Chef de Partie Pastry with: A valid South African ID or work permit Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification At least 3 years experience as a Pastry Chef or Chef de Partie in a hotel or high end restaurant A formal culinary or pastry qualification (essential) Strong technical skills in pastry, baking, and dessert presentation A creative flair for developing new recipes and modern plating styles Excellent organisational and time management skills A commitment to consistency, quality, and kitchen discipline Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays What Youll Do Oversee the pastry section and ensure smooth day to day operations Prepare and present high quality pastries, desserts, breads, and baked goods Support menu planning and seasonal dessert creation Supervise and guide Commis Chefs within your section Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene standards in all areas Manage stock control, portioning, and minimising of wastage Ensure precision in every detail from ingredient preparation to final presentation Collaborate closely with the Executive and Sous Chefs to uphold brand standards Why The President Here, your craft becomes your legacy.
