About the Role
Join Profile Personnel as a Component Engineer and contribute to the success of Company Group Africa. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and introducing locally manufactured components that meet the needs of our African markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply sound knowledge of vehicle component systems such as the engine, drivetrain, suspension system, air conditioning system, etc.
- Prepare, issue, and maintain technical data for relevant components and systems.
- Support Production, Logistics, Warranty, and Quality in assisting with special investigations.
- Specify, test, and release relevant components and systems to ensure adherence to internal and external requirements.
- Create and track development and release timing plans; prepare development and release reports.
Requirements
- BSc/BEng in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
- Minimum 1 year’s relevant experience in the automotive industry or similar engineering field
- Knowledge of modern engine, drivetrain, and vehicle air conditioning components and systems.
- Knowledge of modern automotive production methods.
- Project management principles understanding.
- Basic financial principles understanding.

- BSc/BEng in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
