Lead a critical finance function within a dynamic transportation environment Drive process efficiency and vendor relationship excellence Be part of a collaborative and supportive team culture What you will be doing: Accounts Payable Management Oversee invoice receipt, approval, and payment processing Ensure accurate recording of transportation expenses Maintain procedures for invoice validation and payment scheduling Ensure timely submission of Proof of Deliveries (PODs) Vendor & Stakeholder Relations Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams Resolve queries and escalations efficiently People Management & HR Processes Lead and develop the Creditors team Manage recruitment, performance, and disciplinary processes Foster open communication and teamwork Compliance & Risk Management Ensure adherence to policies and regulations Implement controls to mitigate financial risks Stay updated on industry best practices Process Ownership & Improvement Own and improve creditor processes Identify automation and workflow optimization opportunities Participate in cross-functional improvement initiatives What we are looking for: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5 years’ experience in accounts payable (transport/logistics preferred) Strong accounting, financial analysis, and internal control knowledge Proven leadership and HR process management experience Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive Hands-on, approachable leader with strong ownership mindset Benefits and unique aspects: Opportunity to lead and shape a key finance function Collaborative team environment Exposure to industry-leading transportation operations Please note if you haven’t heard back from us within two weeks of submitting your application, unfortunately your application has not been successful this time.
