About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our Sales & Distribution team at E-Merge, a dynamic and innovative player in South Africa’s financial services industry. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in turning complex data into actionable insights that improve customer experience, drive efficiency, and support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage reporting for the distribution area
- Analyse data to spot trends, opportunities, and risks
- Build and maintain tools for daily, monthly, and annual business tracking
- Train staff on efficiency tools you develop
- Support the sales team with data queries and presentations
- Participate in Business Intelligence forums and respond to ad hoc queries
Requirements
- Diploma in Programming (NET framework and Excel Macros) or higher
- Minimum 2 years’ experience
- Good understanding of Windows & Network environments
- MS office and PC literature
- SQL or SQL server knowledge
- Basic understanding of computer hardware (A+, N+, S+)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in reporting, BI, or data analysis (financial services background is a plus)
Qualifications
- Diploma in Programming (NET framework and Excel Macros) or higher
Salary & Benefits
Cost to company: R380k up to R480k per annum negotiable on experience and ability
